WJ resident passes away
Carl E. Gorder of West Jordan passed away on Jan. 7, 2010, at home of a heart attack.
He was born in Glendive, Mont. on Feb. 9, 1958, to Roy and Violet (Kennedy) Gorder. He lived in Black Eagle, Mont., attending Black Eagle school and Great Falls schools and graduating from CMR High School in 1977. He went on to Denver, Colo. to trucking school He was employed in construction a ready mix driver.
He married Deborah Petro in August 1991. They made their home in Henderson, Nev., then moved to West Jordan. He liked watching baseball and football.
He is survive by his wife of 18 years, Deborah, his stepchildren Mitchell Petro and Jamie Petro all of West Jordan; his parents, Roy and Violet Gorder of Black Eagle; sister Donna Gorder of Great Falls and brother Mark Gorder of Billings. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Gorder .
Cremation took place at Starks Funeral Home in Salt Lake City.
