West Jordan’s Relay for Life set for Aug. 3-4

The American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for Life event in West Jordan begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3. This event, which concludes on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m., is the ACS’s largest fundraising event of the year.
Relay participants will start at the West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park, at 7800 South and about 2200 West. Teams will take turns lapping the park to raise money for cancer research, and/or in honor of someone they love who has had or is currently battling cancer.
