'Christmas Pageant' at Empress
The Empress Theatre, located in Historic Downtown Magna, is playing "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." It runs Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays at 7:30 p.m. through Dec. 20.
The play by Barbara Robinson tells the hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant who are faced with casting the Herdman kids - probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! This delightful comedy is adapted from the best selling book and the only story ever to run twice in McCall's Magazine.
The production is directed by Annie Crawford and features Kimberly Wicker and Jake Anderson as the couple directing the church pageant and Jaymon McDevitt, Tianna Wrathall, Eddie Arsuffi, Eric Flores, Daniel McDevitt, and Mikayla DeVries as the Herdman children.
Tickets are $7 and can be reserved by calling 801-347-7373 or going online to www.empresstheatre.com.
