Nature singer coming to Midvale
The spotlight catches a lone singer and his guitar, the projector turns on, and you are transported to some of the most beautiful places on earth-our National Parks. Art Lee performs his stage show, Nature Sings: A Tribute to Our National Parks, free and open to the public on April 22 at the Midvale Performing Arts Center, 695 West Center Street, 7720 South, starting at 7 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and seating is limited, so arrive early to ensure a seat for this two-hour whirlwind tour of our National Parks.
Art Lee is both a singer-songwriter and a nature photographer. He credits choral singing, including fifteen years in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, for his poetic, catchy, complex and varied music, for which he has won four national awards and performed three times on PBS. His countless photos are from 15 years hiking and backpacking thousands of miles in over 40 National Parks in the west. His purpose is to inspire better care for our public lands and better care for nature, and to educate people including how not to die in the wilderness.
