Restaurant hosting teachers for education fundraiser

A newly remodeled McDonald’s, at 1265 West 9000 South in West Jordan, will host “McTeacher Nights” in November and December to help raise funds for the schools. The Jordan Education Foundation is participating in the program.

A portion of proceeds from those nights will go to the specific school.

The events, which run from 5 to 8 p.m., are scheduled for these schools on specific dates:

Nov. 16—Westvale Elementary

Nov. 30—Jordan Ridge Elementary

Dec. 7—Riverside Elementary

Dec. 14—South Valley center
