Local teacher honored by credit union

Toi Nelson, a teacher at West Jordan Middle School, received a $100 check and an award from Jordan Credit Union as part of its ongoing teacher recognition program. The credit union was founded for employees of both Canyons and Jordan School Districts. Awards are given to those recommended by their principals for going above and beyond their job duties.
