Local resorts encourage kids to ski and ride by offering free or low cost passes to youngsters. Most deals require the parent to buy a day ticket or season pass and there is some fine print. But here's a synopsis.
At Alta, kids 6 and younger get a season pass for $25.
At Brighton, kids 10 and under ski free with a paying adult. Get a pass daily at the ticket window or buy a season pass for $50.
