As part of our Black, Bold & Brilliant series, Utah Film Center, in partnership with KRCL is excited to announce our upcoming film screening and post-discussion of Into the Weeds: DeWayne “Lee” Johnson vs. Monsanto Company. Can the most widely used weed killer cause cancer? Follow Lee Johnson's inspiring journey as he takes on the huge company Monsanto (now Bayer) in a gripping documentary. Johnson's case is the first of many in a legal battle involving thousands of people against Monsanto.

Through interviews, trial clips, and news coverage, the film tracks this landmark case and explores the widespread use of the weed killer Roundup and its impact worldwide.
